Bruce Moeng Leadership Coach
Bruce is a senior leadership coach. He has more than 20 years of Canadian and U.S. business experience in the energy sector where he worked in both small entrepreneurial startups and large organizations. He has 12 years of hands-on management experience. Most assignments were related to (a) turn-arounds, (b) development of new functions, or (c) the management of difficult people situations. Other projects were specifically related to improving cross-function communication and cooperation. These professional experiences ignited an interest in coaching. Bruce coaches globally, and recent clients have been in large organizations in the transportation, software, technology and oil industries. He also has worked with a range of smaller organizations and individual entrepreneurs.
His coaching is distinguished by a specialized interest and expertise in supporting leaders to develop unique and high impact leadership styles. These skills and approach can be equally effective for teams and across multiple levels within an organization. Bruce has particular insights into the impact of patterns of thought and attitude on achieving desired outcomes.
Bruce is qualified in the MBTI®, and is experienced in the application and follow-up of 360 feedback assessments both for individuals and teams. He has taught a range of corporate and individual development workshops as well as courses in the Management Certificate Program at the University of Calgary.
He is a graduate of the International Coach Federation accredited Corporate Business Coaching Program of Corporate Coach University International. He has considerable management training and is a qualified mediator through the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society. He is also a member of the International Coach Federation and is the past president of The Calgary Association of Professional Coaches.
