Beth Schumaker is an executive coach, leadership consultant, and workshop facilitator. She has partnered with leaders and teams in a variety of industries for over 20 years to enhance their business performance and professional development, including healthcare, technology, finance, and manufacturing. She has extensive experience working with physician leaders, scientific professionals, and engineers.

Beth began her career as a licensed psychotherapist, and subsequently had sales leadership roles with both AT&T and Cox Communications. She won numerous awards for outstanding performance in both organizations. Clients value her unique perspective derived from these varied work experiences, which gives her a deep understanding of both organizational and interpersonal dynamics. She understands the business acumen, emotional intelligence competencies, and motivational factors needed for professional and personal success.

Her areas of expertise include coaching and performance management, emotional intelligence, change management, team effectiveness, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and other related areas. She has a particular interest in organizational and individual wellbeing.

Beth is certified in the Hogan Assessment Series, The Birkman Method, Emergenetics, the PERMAH Wellbeing Survey, a variety of multi-rater surveys, and over 40 leadership development courses. In addition, she is a Certified Facilitator for Corporate Coach University.

Beth obtained her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work (specializing in human development) from the University of Georgia.

Her professional affiliations include membership in Alexcel, an international alliance of highly experienced consultants and executive coaches. In addition, she is a member of Georgia Coach Association, ATD, and NASW.
