The purpose of this workshop is to encourage participants to see every conversation that they engage in through the course of their work as a potential coaching conversation, and to provide them with practical skills and approaches they can immediately employ to make these conversations significantly more impactful.

A very important theme of the workshop is that, to become more interpersonally powerful, participants need to move beyond simply giving counsel, advice, and direction in their conversations. They will learn the power of using conversational tools such as appreciation, penetrating questions, constructive confrontation and intuitional perspectives to enhance their interpersonal impact.

The Coaching Experiential is a key learning element in the workshop. This exercise will provide the participants opportunities to experiment with and practice the skills, approaches and concepts that are introduced in the workshop. It is important to note that these are not role-plays but, instead, are real-time conversations about important current issues for the participants.
