Bluepoint Leadership Development

Carmen Suarez

Leadership Coach

Carmen is based in Madrid, Spain and has over 15 years of experience in leadership development in the corporate world. A scientist at heart, she is innately curious about what makes people feel alive and how that can help them have a better life in the corporate world.

Carmen has worked as a Human Resources Consultant since 2006 and has wide international experience leading teams and projects for global corporations across all sectors.

In 2014, her focus shifted to leadership development through executive and team coaching, as well as workshop facilitation. While working at NTT Data (formerly everis, a consulting firm of +20.000 people) she created and worked as head of the internal coaching and executive retreat services.

In 2017 she transitioned to the entrepreneurial arena and she is now known for her down-to-earth and goal-oriented approach as a coach, keynote speaker and facilitator.

Carmen is a member of the faculty of The Valley Digital Business School, where she trains managers in leadership models that adapt to fast-paced change environments.

Some of her clients include Roche, Coca-Cola, European Central Bank, Vodafone, Organization of American States, and Iberdrola.

These diverse experiences have led her to believe that everybody has a unique way of being a leader and that this uniqueness can serve not only the individual, but their teams, peers, organizations and – why not? – the world. She defines her job as helping her clients unveil that uniqueness (either as individuals or as a team) and bringing their ideas to action.

Carmen holds an MBA from Instituto de Empresa, coaching certifications from CTI and ICF (PCC and CPCC), and people development certifications from the Institute for motivational living (DISC) and the Lominger competency model. She is trained in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching, Design Thinking, NLP, and coaching embodiment and trauma.

When she is not being curious about human behaviour, she can be found at any forest in northern Spain walking her rescue beagle, Bruxa.
